10/01/2023: It has come to our attention that some travel agency is sending e-mails to participants, asking for travel dates in order to book a hotel room during the conference.
Please be aware that the organising committee has not directed any travel agency to contact any particpant whatsoever (It's likely a scam).
Getting to Gijón
Gijón is located in the north of Spain in the Asturias region.

The easiest way to reach the city is through the Asturias Airport (Airport code: OVD)
and then take a bus from the airport to the city.

The bus service is hourly and takes 45 minutes (the bus-timetable can be found here).

There are also taxis available at Asturias Airport. The taxi fare from the airport to Gijón is about 50 EUR.

Alternatively, if you are already in Spain (or if you have arrived at any other airport), you can take a train or a bus.
